At Eclipse Dental Care we provide all aspects of general dentistry to a high standard using state of the art materials and equipment.

We focus heavily on prevention and we have two hygienists available to help patients maintain healthy gums.

Root Canal

Root canal treatment (also called endodontics) is needed when the blood or nerve supply of the tooth (known as the pulp) is infected through decay or injury.

The aim of the treatment is to remove all infection from the root canal. The root is then cleaned and filled to prevent any further infection.

Root canal treatment is a skilled and time-consuming procedure. Most courses of treatment will involve two or more visits to your dentist.

Crowns

Crowns are an ideal way to rebuild teeth which have been broken, or have been weakened by decay or a very large filling.

The crown fits right over the remaining part of the tooth, making it strong and giving it the shape and contour of a natural tooth.

Dentures

A denture is an appliance that is worn to replace lost or missing teeth to enable you to enjoy a healthy diet and smile with confidence.

A complete or full denture is one that replaces all of the natural teeth in either the upper or lower jaws.

A partial denture fills in the spaces created by lost or missing teeth.

Preventative Dentistry

Preventive dentistry is the modern way of reducing the amount of dental treatment necessary to maintain a healthy mouth.

With the dentist, the hygienist and the patient all working together the aim is to prevent the need for further treatment.
